Service Description

[Start-time for Guests from Inverness = 9am] [Start-time for Guests from the Invergordon Cruise Port = 8:30am] Visit various distilleries up North, an area rich with the presence of the ancient Picts. Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes and intriguing history while enjoying samples of fine Scottish whisky and gin. This is a tour for both the novice and the connoisseur to enjoy. Each distillery has their own quirky attributes but they all use the finest ingredients and traditional processes to craft their distinctive flavour. Distilleries need to be booked ahead of time. Our tour includes 1 Distillery Tour Admission fee at any available distillery listed in our itinerary. We will then be visiting as many distilleries that we can within the tour duration. They all offer tastings which we leave up to your discretion to enjoy. You can alternatively choose to simply wander about their impressive stunning grounds. We strongly advise against booking distillery tours on your own, as this can disrupt the tour itinerary. However, if you have already made a booking, please let us know in advance so we can adjust our schedule accordingly. This is a popular tour which is likely to sell out. Book ahead to secure your tour date. FEATURE ATTRACTIONS (1 Distillery tour at any available distilleries below): Tasting Fees at Distilleries are at your own expense. ★ Glenmorangie: 'Valley of Tranquillity' crafted from curiosity since 1843. ★ Clynelish: One of the Four Corners distilleries of Johnnie Walker. ★ Glen Ord: The only single malt distillery on the Black Isle. ★ Tomatin: A village-like distillery with resident workers and rich whisky making traditions dating back to the 1500s. ★ Balblair: Whisky shaped by time and place overlooking the Dornoch Firth. ★ Great Glen Distillery: Award winning Scottish Gin sourced directly from Loch Ness. ALTERNATIVE ATTRACTIONS (if time permits): ★ Inverness High Street ★ Beauly ★ Golspie You have the option to adjust the itinerary as long as it is within the tour route and duration. Please contact us to discuss feasibility. Itinerary can change at any time due to unforeseen situations like Castle private events, Road diversions, Weather conditions, Operating hours of Exhibit Centres, Distilleries, etc. We look forward to welcoming you.
