You will have your own 'Dougal Mackenzie' Doppelganger-Guide. If you have never heard of the TV Show Outlander - you will live it here with Scots Gaelic words like Sassenach and Slàinte Mhath (pronounced as Slanj-a-va). Learn the true story of the Highlanders and Clans who lived and fought for their Highland honour. We'll get you kilted up with a Feileadh Mor or an Arisaid like a local of the 18th Century and get a feel of the Standing Stone at Clava Cairns where mystic, magic and faeries abound. This is a Famous tour which is likely to sell out. Book ahead of time to secure your tour date. MAIN ATTRACTIONS: (not limited to) ★ Clava Cairns: Explore a sacred 4,000 year old resting place where the real Standing Stone is located. ★ Culloden Battlefield: Walk amongst fallen heroes of the 1746 battle. ★ Culloden Exhibit Centre (requires admission fee at your discretion) ★ Ruthven Barracks: A destination for Outlander fans who are into the historical side of the story. FEATURE ATTRACTIONS FOR INVERNESS GUESTS starts at 9am: ★ Cawdor Castle: A type of clan castle referenced in the book that inspired the series (requires admission fee) ★ Beauly: A quaint village with a Priory where a James Fraser headstone can be found. FEATURE ATTRACTIONS FOR CRUISE PORT (INVERGORDON/CROMARTY) GUESTS starts at 8:30am: ★ Urquhart Castle: Mentioned in the book with Claire and Frank's trip to the site. It is along the shores of Loch Ness (admission fee included) ★ Inverness: The City where Claire and Frank had their 2nd honeymoon. It's High Street is a tourist hub with local vibes.
